Scotland players will have no problems with abstinence under Craig Levein, according to star striker James McFadden.

The failed 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign was further scarred by the 'Boozegate' incident which ultimately resulted in Allan McGregor and Barry Ferguson being banned by the Scottish Football Association.

Levein wiped the slate clean when he took over from George Burley - although neither player is in his squad for Wednesday night's friendly against the Czech Republic at Hampden - but gathered his squad together on Sunday night to lay down the ground rules for his tenure.

Part of Levein's new disciplinary code is a ban on alcohol when the players are on Scotland duty and McFadden, who is confident of shaking off a groin injury in time for Wednesday night, welcomed the move.
