According to the Spanish daily Sport, the 18-year-old is being closely observed by the club's scouts under instructions from coach Pep Guardiola.
Eriksen turned out for Akax for the first time last year and has since made regular apperances in the team under former Barclays Premier League coach Martin Jol.
The Dane has also been called up for national duty in Denmark's friendly aganist Austria on Wedneday.
Eriksen is currently on a three year deal with Ajax but with Barcelona as well as Arsenal - on the advice of Gunner legend Dennis Bergkamp - reportedly interested, it is very likely that the youngster could make a move away from Holland in the near future.
