Laws said: "Unfortunately I can only satisfy the first XI, semi-satisfy the subs and never satisfy the others.
"I know Joey is a strong-minded lad. He wants to play football and believes he should be in the team but at the moment I don't believe that.
"That is the situation, it is a matter of opinion. If we beg to differ on that, that is fine, it is part and parcel of football.
"But as far as a bust-up is concerned, it is a load of rubbish. He is working as hard as he possibly can to try to get into the team."
Ecuador playmaker Guerrero has failed to make an impact since joining the club on a season-long loan from Independiente del Valle.
